Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using College Squared, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Cancellation Policy. If you purchase for a student, you confirm that you are authorized to manage the account and accept these terms for the family.

2. Membership options

College Squared currently offers Guided Membership Plus and Premier Membership. Services, review allowances, and counselor access differ by plan and are described on the membership selection page at enrollment.

3. Twelve-month commitment

Each membership begins with a minimum 12-month contract term starting on the purchase date. Monthly billing divides the annual obligation into 12 recurring payments; it does not create a month-to-month contract. Annual billing collects the full annual amount at the start of the term.

The exact start date, contract end date, billing schedule, and minimum financial obligation will be shown before purchase and repeated in the enrollment receipt.

4. Automatic renewal

For memberships paid monthly, the initial 12-month commitment converts to month-to-month billing after the first year unless you cancel. For memberships paid annually, annual renewal remains the default, but you may schedule monthly billing to begin at the first eligible renewal date. You may also cancel renewal before that date.

College Squared will send an email reminder approximately 30 days before renewal to the account email address. You are responsible for keeping your email address and payment method current. Any material pricing or membership change will be communicated before it takes effect as required by applicable law.

5. Cancellation and early termination

You may turn off automatic renewal through Account Settings or by emailing support@collegesquared.com. A cancellation received before the renewal date prevents the next annual term but does not by itself end the current 12-month commitment.

If you request termination before the current commitment ends, any unpaid amount remaining under the minimum annual obligation may become due, together with a $50 early termination fee, except where prohibited by law. Details, timing, and limited exceptions are stated in the Cancellation Policy.

6. Additional services and charges

Guided members may purchase additional reviews or counselor meetings. Those purchases are separate from membership charges. The service, price, and any applicable review credit will be shown before purchase. Except where required by law or stated otherwise, completed reviews, held meetings, and used credits are not refundable.

7. Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate information, protect account credentials, and promptly report unauthorized access. You may not interfere with the portal, misuse another person's information, attempt to bypass access controls, or use College Squared content for unlawful purposes.

8. Educational guidance

College Squared provides planning tools, educational resources, and admissions guidance. It does not guarantee admission, scholarships, financial aid, academic outcomes, or decisions by any school or third party. Students and families remain responsible for reviewing submissions, meeting deadlines, and confirming requirements with the relevant institution.

9. Availability and third-party services

The portal may depend on third-party services such as payment processors, calendar providers, video platforms, and communications tools. College Squared may update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any commitments made for a paid membership.

10. Changes to these terms

College Squared may update these terms prospectively. Material changes affecting an active paid membership will be communicated before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date of a permitted update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
